EIL – INDIA & the Pestle Weed College Dehradun present you with a unique opportunity to experience oneness with nature while learning how to conserve and protect it.
Pestle weed College is a residential school spreading across a sprawling 50 acre campus in the Dehradun valley at the foothills of the Himalayas. A special feature of this institution is that it provides primary, secondary, higher secondary & professional education under one roof.
Our programme is designed for people who want a respite from the hustle and bustle of city life in a serene surrounding looking up at snow capped mountains and lush green forests. We offer the participants a one month stay at this institution with participation in a host of activities that include
- Participation in the daily routine of the students
- Learning and practicing the ancient Vedic art of YOGA
- Attending the extracurricular activities like Music and Art/Craft Lessons
- A wide array of sporting activities including basket ball, soccer, Tennis, Squash, Billiards, swimming, horse riding, etc...
- Environmental projects on
- a) The workings of a Green House
- b) Energy Conservation
- Trekking and River Rafting expeditions
- Both Informal as well as Classroom sessions with students to exchange views on and learn more about the education patterns from both countries
